My Story

I grew up in a home where we ate fruits and vegetables from our garden and mainly whatever produce was in season. We had a farmer next door who provided us with meat and dairy so that we knew where it was coming from. Some of our produce was conserved so we could enjoy it over the winter months. I spent the majority of my time outside, either helping in the garden or running around the neighbourhood with my friends. Those were simpler times, when we were directly connected to the nature around us, and I also believe that those were healthier times. I learned from my mother and grandmother how to use simple, natural remedies for regular ailments and I have continued on that path and expanded my knowledge over the years. I always believed in “do no harm” and looked for treatments that are efficacious and close to or from nature.

When I encountered Firefly light therapy, I somehow knew that it would become an important healing tool in my personal and professional life. But, like with any other tool or remedy or treatment, we have to consider the person as a whole when applying it.
